Icky! I am so glad I don't smoke at all. >.< I hope you get over the cold soon though, I know what it's like to be hammered by one so hard you feel like you're going to die... or drown in mucus...

As for new album? Hmmm, ideas... Well, I would have to agree with the first reply, pull some inspiration from your personna and the adventures you/he would have travelling the world. Maybe a fun and interesting new spin on an old EaTeN song (like "Bleed You") you haven't recorded with Abney Park yet? Just a thought anyways.

Another idea would be to take something that might be traiditional to one culture and rewrite it as if it were written for another culture. Heather Alexander's album Insh'Allah comes to mind where she took a few traiditional Irish songs and rewrote them to a Middle Eastern timing, as well as writing some of her own stuff in the same mindset. You could do something simillar with using two or three different cultures you would encounter along your travels with the Ophelia and blend the musical styles to something that sounds cool. And you wouldn't have to take prexisting songs and rewrite them (as Heather did with a handfull of songs on Insh'Allah), but borrow the cultural styles to blend them and write something completely your own. Maybe even telling a story in Captain Robert's words, from a personal or ship's travel log perhaps?

And I think I'm going to have to hunt down Sting's new album now. The way you describe it sounds really cool. **grins**
